A tune-up is for a system that still runs. The point is to find the weak capacitor, the dirty coil, the filter that is already too tight, or the flame that does not look right — before the first 100-degree Fairfield afternoon or the first cold night. What the plan actually includes

That is the list. We will not invent a price, a visit count, or a contract length here. If you want those details, ask us on the phone and we will tell you what is current. If you do not want a plan, book HVAC tune-ups as a one-time visit. The check is the same work. The plan is how some homeowners keep both seasons on the calendar and keep the repair and scheduling terms above.

What a seasonal tune-up actually is

A cooling tune-up is an indoor and outdoor inspection: filter and coil check, airflow, refrigerant level and electrical safety, condenser cleanliness, and the drain. A heating tune-up is combustion and safety, a look at the heat exchanger, ignition, flame sense, venting, blower, and filter. We tell you what we found in plain language. If something is already failed, that becomes a repair. We do not hide a repair inside a tune-up price. If everything is in range, you have a system that is less likely to quit on a Saturday in July.

A tune-up will not fix leaky ducts, a system that is two tons too small, or a compressor that is already at the end. We will not pretend it will. If we see a duct problem, we will say whether cleaning is enough or whether the metal itself needs work. If we see a system that is near the end, we will say so without turning the visit into an installation pitch. You already know our repair-versus-replace line from the rest of the site. We keep it: under about 10 years with a contained repair, we usually fix it; 12–15+ years, R-22, or a repair over about a third of replacement, we show you the install path.

Timing in Fairfield and the rest of Solano County

Inland Fairfield, Vacaville, and Dixon run AC hard and dusty. Spring is the window for a cooling check — before Climate Zone 12 heat, not after the first triple-digit stretch. Fall is furnace season everywhere we work. Vallejo and Benicia add marine moisture and corrosion on the outdoor unit; a coil and contact check still matters even when the summer is milder. Suisun City near the marsh sees more condensate and drain issues. Rio Vista adds wind-blown debris on the condenser. If you only do one visit, do the season that failed you last year.

What we will not promise

We will not use a tune-up as a foot-in-the-door for a changeout. We will finish the check either way. We will not claim the plan “pays for itself,” invent a savings number beyond the listed “up to 20% off repairs,” or add perks we do not offer. Priority means front-of-line scheduling as listed. Waived diagnostic fees means what it says. Seasonal tune-ups mean heating and cooling checks on a schedule. That is enough for most houses that just need someone to look before the season hits.

Manufacturer warranties often expect annual maintenance. We will not turn that into a scare. If you want the plan so you do not have to remember to schedule, say so.
